Having the celebrity/amateur pairing part of this tournament is not the only thing that makes this a unique tournament on the PGA Tour. This tournament is played on 3 different golf courses for the first 3 days. The players will play a combination of MONTEREY PENINSULA COUNTRY CLUB SHORE COURSE, SPYGLASS HILL GOLF COURSE, & PEBBLE BEACH GOLF LINKS to ultimately finish the tournament on PEBBLE BEACH GOLF LINKS after the 54 hole cut.
When there is a tournament at Pebble Beach a few names jump to the top of the list of possible winners due to their track records. Dustin Johnson +650 , Phil Mickelson +3000, and Brandt Snedeker +2500 are definitely three names that jump out because all of them have won this tournament at least twice, with Phil having 5 wins at this tournament since 1998. Phil is also coming off a T3 last week in the Saudi International, and Dustin finished 2nd. These 2 will definitely be in the $100 Card, with Snedeker also getting the nod.
Jason Day at +2200 seems to always get close in this tournament, and I believe he could finally break through this year, (his last 3 finishes 4, 2, 5).
Graeme McDowell +4500 is coming off a win last week at the Saudi International and we all remember his US Open victory at Pebble Beach. I will be throwing a few shekels on Graeme hoping he can recapture some of that magic.

- Jim Furyk +9000 – Mr. 58 himself on some shorter courses compared with the rest of the PGA Tour course lineup.
- Kevin Na +7000 – Kevin has had a couple of top 5 finishes in this tournament
- Matt Every + 40000 – This guy is hit or miss, I am hoping for a hit!
